Peter Howard Visits South Burnett

Exactly twelve months out from the LifeStyle FOOD Channel Australian Regional Culinary Competition, Team South Burnett has had the pleasure of cooking alongside one of the event's founding forefathers.

Peter Howard has been Chairman of the competition since its inception, and recently MC'd a South Burnett Culinary Masterclass on 16th October. Team South Burnett Captain Jason Ford and Team Chef Helen Pratt presented a three-course regional cookery workshop to an entertained audience of local producers, wine makers and tourism associations.

Peter Howard is no stranger to Queensland's South Burnett Region, as he has helped champion the growth of it's beourgening food and wine industry for the past decade. Jason took the opportunity to officially announce his teams quest for culinary gold in 2007, and was encouraged by Peter's praise and best wishes.
