Team South Burnett Caters For Awards Night

Attendees of the 2006 Heritage Building Society Kingaroy Business Awards got a sneak preview of Team South Burnett's culinary prowess, when team chefs Jason Ford and Helen Pratt (*pictured above) catered for the event.

Helen, who heads-up the kitchen of the 'Kinga' Hotel, designed a regional themed three-course dinner for the 200 appreciative attendees, utilising local chicken, beef, cheese, olives and small goods.

Hospitality Teacher and Team South Burnett Captain, Jason Ford was also on hand with a brigade of his Kingaroy TAFE students.

"The function was a fantastic opportunity for the students to experience a hands-on environment, with two qualified chef at the helm and real customers at the tables", Jason said.

Everyone had a great time with organisers declaring the night a smashing success, and many of the attendees complimenting the fabulous food and service.
