The Peanut Van Opens Brisbane Store
Team South Burnett's partner - The Peanut Van - has just opened their latest outlet.
The new store is located at 725 Gympie Road Chermside, and breaks new ground for Peanut Van Owners Rob and Chris Patch, as their first outlet in a capital city.
Team South Burnett Captain Jason Ford was on hand as MC for the opening ceremony.
Australian cricket legend, Matthew Hayden officially cut the ribbon to the store, before unveiling a plaque commemorating the historic event. Matthew Hayden grew up on a peanut farm in Kingaroy, where his parents still reside.
The record-breaking Opening Batsman said,"I've taken The Peanut Van's products with me on tour to ever corner of the world, and they're always met with the same response... Wow"!
"I truly believe that the peanuts coming out of Kingaroy are the best in the world", Matthew said.

The Chermside store is the third Peanut Van to open. The original Kingaroy Peanut Van commenced business in 1969, and the Childers outlet opened in 2005.
