Cheesy Movie Night a Great Success

Last night, Team South Burnett hosted the premier screening of Disney Pixar Animations Ratatouille.

75 people braved the cold, wind and rain to attend the fundraising movie night. Amongst the movie-goers was Mike Giles, Reuben and Indigo Vandenberg (pictured above L-R), who got into the culinary spirit by dressing up as French Master Chefs.

And, as a gastronomic homage to the film, award winning Kingaroy Cheese platters were served up as the crowd filed out of the theatre.

The fundraiser was held at Kingaroy Satellite Cinema and raised over $400, which will help cover the costs of sending the Team South Burnett chefs to Adelaide’s Lifestyle FOOD Channel Australian Regional Culinary Competition, in October.
